On March 25th, 2011 the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP) has accepted PASOs (Perinatal Awareness for Successful Outcomes) as a Promising Practice in the field of Maternal and Child Health. "The reviewers were very impressed with your efforts to increase healthy pregnancies and newborns and improve reproductive health, especially your program's use of the prenatal empowerment course" indicated Kate Howe, MPH, Program Manager for the AMCHP. Thank you to all of the coalition members of Together for Beaufort County/Adequacy of Prenatal Care Coalition for their continued support to keep PASOs in Beaufort and Jasper Counties.
